Our daughter was killed in a crash with a drunk driver that was at a BAL of .247 – 2 hours after the crash. He had already killed a man on a bicycle kept going and 5 minutes later hit our daughter head-on. After our conviction 2 years later, I started doing victims impact classes with drunk drivers and students of all ages to bring awareness and to show the negative ripple effect that these crashes have. I also wrote a book called “In the Messes She Left Behind” which is based on a letter my wife wrote about our daughter after she was killed.
