We Save Lives has a new partner, AVID,  Advocaces for Victims of Impaired Driving.  AVID is co-founded by Bill and Julie Downs whose son, Brad, daughter-in-law, Samantha, and a friend, Chris Dafoe, were killed in a drunk driving crash in Gulfport Mississippi.  I met Bill and Julie at a MADD conference in Washington DC several years ago and we kept in touch.  They were very involved with MADD’s VIP program as two dedicated volunteers.  They also initiated several online support groups on Facebook.

Recently, they contacted me looking for a new direction for their advocacy work and I suggested they become part of the We Save Lives.org family.  They are two of the most genuine and sincere people I know and they are both so supportive of the victims of impaired driving issues. They help with advocacy, emotional support and outreach if someone needs help.  We feel very fortunate they are now part of WeSaveLives.org.  If you are a victim of impaired driving, please join AVID.
