We Save Lives speaker Vinny Carbone spoke at Fairfield Warde High School in Fairfield, CT in February 2017 on the consequences of distracted driving. He shared his personal story along with recent research on the subject. Vinny spent 2 days speaking to individual senior health classes, a total of 280 students. Vinny asked students signed the Courage to Intervene promise and the teachers are going to make a bulletin board with all of the signed pledges.

Despite serious injuries and a long-term recovery, Vinny Carbone continues to speak out against distracted driving. We want to thank him for his commitment to educating young people about the dangers of distracted driving. You can read about Vinny’s story here.
