The law is finally in effect and I would like to be optimistic and say that everyone will follow the law and lives will be saved. Unfortunately, with very little publicity or any PSA’s that I have seen, people may not even be aware that texting and driving is no longer allowed. Best case scenario, Florida’s drivers will put the safety of themselves and the public before the unnecessary use of their cell phones while driving. Worst case scenario, they will continue their dangerous behavior and more lives will be ruined. Does anyone want to bet on the outcome?
