We Save Lives Congratulates Fred Manocherian, the founder of the National Road Safety Foundation, for receiving the 3D Badge of Courage.

In a luncheon ceremony held on December 5th, in New York City, We Save Lives President Candace Lightner, presented the 3D Badge of Courage to Fred Manocherian, founder of the National Road Safety Foundation. We Save Lives’ Board members, Cindy Schreibman, and Lorne Adrain along with the foundation president, John Manocherian, were in attendance.

We Save Lives chose Fred Manocherian, the Founder of the National Road Safety Foundation for our 3D Badge of Courage award because of his more than 60 years as a highway safety advocate. Mr. Manocherian has worked tirelessly at the national level advocating for better and more comprehensive driver’s education. He has worked with members of Congress, highway safety organizations, and others to eliminate drunk driving and improve highway safety. His foundation under the leadership of the President, John Manocherian, provides the public with the tools and resources to make us all better drivers. Fred Manocherian is an outstanding example of what one person can do to save lives and we are proud to present him with the We Save Lives 3D Badge of Courage.
